Velion Overseas Sales Terms and Conditions
Article 1 (Purpose)The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the 
rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Velion (hereinafter referred to as the 
"Company") and the user in connection with the use of overseas purchasing and 
shipping services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") provided on the online 
website operated by the Company.
Article 2 (Order and Payment)
1. Due to the nature of international sales, product prices are subject to 
change without prior notice based on local inflation, exchange rate 
fluctuations, etc.
2. Even after a user has completed payment, an order may be canceled due to 
reasons such as product discontinuation or inventory shortages. In such 
cases, the Company will notify the user without delay and process a full 
refund.
3. All product pricing and transactions on the Velion website are exclusively 
processed in US Dollars (USD).
4. If an official Velion distributor is established and operating in the user's 
destination country, the Company reserves the right to cancel direct 
purchase and international shipping orders received from that country. In 
such an event, the Company will promptly notify the user of the cancellation, 
issue a full refund, and require the user to purchase the products through 
the official authorized distributor in their respective country.
Article 3 (Customs and Duties)
1. As a general rule, all costs incurred during customs clearance, including 
customs duties and value-added taxes (VAT) arising when the product is 
imported into the user's country, shall be borne by the recipient (user). 
(Exceptions apply strictly to products explicitly marked as 'Duties and Taxes 
Included'.)
2. The user is responsible for any customs delays and additional costs caused 
by incorrect or missing customs clearance information provided by the 
recipient.
3. If a product is held at local customs, returned, or discarded due to the 
user's refusal to pay customs duties and taxes, all resulting costs (including 
return shipping fees and local disposal fees) shall be borne by the user. 
Order cancellation and full refunds are not permitted for this reason, and a 
refund may only be issued after deducting all incurred expenses.
Article 4 (Shipping and Extension of Lead Time) ⚠
1. Standard Delivery Time:Due to the nature of made-to-order production and
international shipping, the average production and delivery period takes 4
weeks from the date of payment completion.
2. Reasons for Extended Lead Time:In the event of the following
circumstances, delivery may be delayed beyond the standard lead time, and
the Company shall not be held liable for such force majeure delays: • Factory and Manufacturing Issues: Unavoidable lead time extensions
due to factory issues such as production schedule delays,
manufacturing problems, or raw material supply disruptions. • International Transportation Issues: Changes in flight or vessel
schedules, cancellations, or offloads (lack of aircraft cargo space). • Customs Delays: Delays in customs clearance due to a surge in cargo
volume at either country's customs, incorrect recipient information, or
selection for intensive customs inspection. • Special Periods: Logistics bottlenecks during global sales events or
long national holidays/vacations. • Force Majeure Events: Uncontrollable events such as natural disasters,
wars, pandemics, or strikes by local logistics companies.
Delay Notification & Made-to-Order Policy:Our products are strictly
made-to-order and production begins upon payment completion. If an
unforeseen delay occurs extending beyond the pre-notified average lead time
(4 weeks), the Company will notify the user via email with the reason for the
delay and the revised estimated schedule. However, due to the nature of
made-to-order products, orders that have already entered the 'Production and
Preparation for Shipment' stage cannot be canceled or fully refunded solely due
to a shipping delay.
Article 5 (Cancellation, Exchange, Return, and Warranty)
1. Order Cancellation:In principle, free cancellation due to a simple change of
mind is not permitted once the order has entered the 'Production and
Preparation for Shipment' stage after payment completion.
2. Exchange/Return Costs:Due to the nature of internationally shipped products,
exchanges and returns caused by a simple change of mind will incur a
return processing fee of $50 USD. The user must bear all related costs,
including round-trip international shipping fees and import taxes.
3. Warranty Claims and Eligibility:In the event of initial defects or incorrect
delivery, please contact the customer service center with photos within 1
year of receiving the product (warranty period applied), and we will process
it after verification. However, this warranty applies exclusively to the original
purchaser (first purchaser) who paid directly through the Velion website. The
warranty is not transferable or applicable to secondary purchasers or third
parties who acquired the product through second-hand transactions or
transfers. Proof of purchase, such as an official order number, may be
required when claiming the warranty.
4. Warranty Exceptions:Our product warranty is strictly limited to defects in the
materials and workmanship of the product itself. Damages caused by user
negligence (e.g., exceeding recommended mounting torque, excessive force
during assembly), unauthorized modifications, use for unintended purposes,
accidents, and normal wear and tear are excluded from the warranty.
Article 6 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
1. The Company shall be exempt from liability in the event that it cannot
provide services due to force majeure events such as natural disasters,
strikes, or changes in relevant laws.
2. The Company is not responsible for any shipping delays or disadvantages
resulting from the user's negligence, such as entering an incorrect shipping
address or customs clearance information.
3. DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT
PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL OF THE COMPANY'S PRODUCTS ARE
PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE
COMPANY, ITS DIRECTORS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT,
INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
(INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGE TO BICYCLE FRAMES, CYCLING
COMPUTERS, LIGHTS, SMARTPHONES, OR OTHER DEVICES AND
EQUIPMENT, PERSONAL PHYSICAL INJURY, OR DATA LOSS) ARISING OUT
OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE, MISUSE, OR IMPROPER
INSTALLATION OF OUR PRODUCTS. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY'S
TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT DIRECTLY PAID
BY THE USER TO THE COMPANY FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT.
Article 7 (Intellectual Property)All intellectual property rights regarding designs,
trademarks, 3D modeling, text, images, etc., included in the website and products
belong solely to the Company. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or
commercial use of these materials without the prior written consent of the Company
is strictly prohibited.
Article 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)The laws of the Republic of Korea shall
apply as the governing law to the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions and to
any disputes arising between the Company and the user regarding the use of the
services. In the event of a dispute, the court having jurisdiction over the location of
the Company's headquarters in the Republic of Korea shall be the exclusive
competent court.
Article 9 (Class Action Waiver)ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE
CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS,
CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. The user agrees to waive any right to
bring a claim as a plaintiff or a class member in a class, consolidated, or
representative action.
Article 10 (Severability)If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be
unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction,
then that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and Conditions and
shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
